Retreats are over, being the last batch. Truly, retreat helps a lot, it makes you realize a lot of things, it makes you a better person (Sometimes for just awhile, it’s up to you). And the best part? It will always be the road trip, the food trip inside the bus, the open forum while waiting for another bus stop, the radio-like update of the texts wherein you can say whatever you wanna say regarding the section, greet whoever you wanna greet and The Who’s. The time and place update, sharing of food, the videoke, sharing of thoughts, or simply the bonding of the whole class apart from the retreat.
It was the best experience ever, knowing that every person with you cherish you, appreciates you and loves you.
I learned two things:
First is saying bad words would make you stay awake until 2am as a punishment that caused me to hate saying bad words and hate hearing bad words.
Second is that affirmation boost ones self-esteem and at the same time would avert us judging; telling bad things against others.
